Be part of a unique, creative, queer ensemble experience

PRIDE CAB runs APRIL — JUNE

A select group of youth work with Program Coordinator
Chy Ryan Spain to create an all-original, multi-disciplinary, cabaret-style show, using Toronto's queer history as a jumping-off point. Participants work over twelve weeks to develop their own material, discover their collective voice as queer artists, find out about Toronto's queer community, and learn about all aspects of creating, performing, and producing a show.

Pride Cab culminates with a showcase on the Buddies' mainstage; a wildly successful, one-night-only event, part of our annual Pride Festivities.

Application deadline for the 2010/11 PRIDE CAB is Friday March 4th, 2011 at 5 pm. Applications must be RECEIVED (not postmarked) by this date at the theatre.

Application forms can be downloaded here as of FEBRUARY 1st, 2011.

Interested applicants, please note: PRIDE CAB will meet on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 to 10 pm, starting on Monday April 4th, 2011. The 2011 PRIDE CAB presentation will take place on Wednesday, June 15th, 2011. To participate, you must be available for all meetings, as well as additional rehearsal times (TBA) in June, 2011.
